The Projects | Hostile Infrastructure
Documentation video for Bruno Booth’s Hostile Infrastructure installation at Testing Grounds.
Working with one of the most common building materials, a single length of 90 x 45mm timber, the site will host a large structure made from 200 of these units. Over the course of two weeks the structure will adapt and adjust while it negotiates a range of programs and events that take place around and amongst it. The structure invites a wider conversation about how a city and its inhabitants exist in a state of continual change. Part of Melbourne Design Week 2019, an initiative of the Victorian Government in collaboration with the NGV.
